Every family jewelry store has a story. Our story tells of one family's journey and the changing nature of the jeweler's profession.
The business began in Houston, Texas, where owners Danny & Karen Alkayam married. Their family grew to include a daughter, Kellie, and a few years later the business found a new home in Evergreen, Colorado.
A Modern Jewelry Business Springs From Deep Family Roots
Generations of the Alkayam family cut and sold wholesale diamonds. When Danny moved to Houston he entered the family business as an apprentice and set about learning everything he could. He and Karen worked selling wholesale jewels and created a line of handcrafted jewelry they sold to other stores.
Upon their move to Evergreen, they decided to open a traditional retail jewelry store to showcase Karen's talent for custom design alongside a carefully curated selection of ready-to-wear jewelry.

Daniel Diamonds is a full-service jewelry store. We carry fashion jewelry for all occasions and a full range of traditional fine jewelry like diamond earrings, engagement and wedding rings, bracelets, and cocktail rings.
There's fashion jewelry too. Our experts are happy to help you pick out the perfect gift for your bridesmaids, graduation, birthdays, anniversaries, and christenings.

A New Era for a Family Jewelry Business
This year saw a significant shift in our business. Shopping habits shifted online during the pandemic. We recognized this opportunity to offer our custom design services to a larger audience. In the spring of 2022, Daniel Diamonds transitioned to an online brand.
Our physical store in Evergreen, Colorado, is now open only by appointment. We're available Thursdays from 11-4, Friday 11-5, and Saturday 11-3.

To schedule an appointment for a repair, custom design, or shop for a specific item you have in mind: book an appointment from our website or window shop in our online store, which is open 24/7. Most of our in-store inventory is there, and we're constantly adding new items.
